Working Remotely: International Possibilities!

Saturday, 02 June 2012

I recently had the pleasure of working remotely on my latest motion graphics project!

Under the direction of Buddy Gancenia, Video producer in Manila, Philippines, I created the dynamic typography used in the ad. Lyceum of the Philippines is a very prominent university in the Philippines, with 5 campuses throughout the nation.

It was a great opportunity to work with such a talented director and videographer, and the distance between us didn't seem to hinder the workflow at all.

Using free tools such as skype, facebook, paypal and dropbox, we were able to complete the project just as though we where in the same city, even though we are 7000 miles apart.

I truly believe that this is the future of freelance work; being able to work from anywhere, with clients from everywhere. Truly, many people are already making a living this way. I hope to get more clients like Mr. Gancenia, and I hope I get the chance to work with him again! Enjoy the video!
